Brendan Shakeshaft

Hi, I’m Brendan — a Brooklyn-based operator and founder.

I’ve built and scaled companies at the intersection of crypto, security, and developer tooling. I’m currently COO at Guardian, where I lead operations across audits, sales, and strategy. Before that, I co-founded Auditware (acqui-hired in 2024), where we launched Audit Wizard, a tool helping hundreds of teams ship safer smart contracts faster.

Earlier, I worked on operations at Filecoin, supporting ecosystem growth during a key phase of the network’s launch.

I’ve partnered with leading crypto teams like Tether, Yuga Labs, and GMX; led cross-chain integrations; scaled revenue from zero to six figures in months; and built teams from the ground up.

I also cohost the Permissionless Podcast, where I interview leading web3 founders about how they got started.
